The Department of Natural Resources and Renewables has informed us that, due to the predicted severe weather from Hurricane Lee, all managed trails on Crown Land are to be closed effective 7:00pm Friday September 15th.
Please advised that the BLT Rails to Trails trail will re-open when post storm inspections have been completed and the trail is trail is safe to reopen. This may take a few days.
We know this may cause some inconvenience but is being done to ensure the safety of users.
