The B.L.T. Rails to Trails Association is a non-profit society tasked with managing the B.L.T. Rails to Trails!; the organization is fully composed of volunteers. We are seeking interested community volunteers to fill:
- Board Director – Community Engagement (Responsible for community events, working with stakeholders on trail etiquette, and acknowledging the historical land of the BLT Rails to Trails)
- Board Director – Accessibility (Responsible for providing the board of directors with an accessibility lens, to make the trail more inclusive and user-friendly for those using mobility-devices)
- Board Director – Youth (16-18 years of age) (Responsible to obtaining youth engagement)
- Board Director – Trail Ambassador Program (Responsible for managing the trail ambassador program)
All terms start February 2022, with onboarding starting in January 2022. All terms are three-years terms.
As per the bylaws of the Society, candidates must be of legal age (or have parental/guardian consent), reside in Beechville, Lakeside, Timberlea, Hubley, or Lake Lewis, and must be in good standing with the Society.
