Are you passionate about nature and eager to make a difference in your community? Consider joining us at the B.L.T. Rails to Trails Association! We’re currently looking for volunteer Board Directors who are enthusiastic about outdoor recreation and want to help sustain the beauty and accessibility of our trails.
In addition to general board positions, we’re also seeking to fill two key executive roles: Chairperson and Corporate Secretary. These positions offer a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of our association.
As Chairperson, you’ll guide our board meetings and play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making.
As Corporate Secretary, you’ll ensure that our records are immaculately kept and that our board operates smoothly.
As a Board Director, you’ll be part of a team that meets at least six times a year, for about one to one and a half hours each session. But it’s more than just meetings; you’ll also roll up your sleeves and contribute to one of our board committees, where your skills and insights will truly make an impact. We’re on the lookout for people who have a genuine interest in our trails and are keen to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Take a moment to explore our work, our commitment to the Mi’kmaw community, our role in the Trans Canada Trail, and our dedication to the local environment at www.blttrails.ca.
Joining our team means you’ll be playing a key part in maintaining and enhancing a local treasure. Whether you’re interested in a general board position or one of our executive roles, we’re excited to hear from you and see how together, we can keep the B.L.T. trails a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy!
