The B.L.T. Rails to Trails remains closed to all trail-users. We are still waiting to hear back about official funding from our funding partners.
Thank you to those who have stepped up and made a donation to our trail association!
Our friends at North Brewing Company – Timberlea have really stepped up and will be hosting a fundraiser from Thursday August 3 to Sunday August 6th:
A BLT Sandwich Special will be running during these dates!!!
On August 3rd, 15% of draught sales in Timberlea will be donated to the BLT Rails to Trails!!!
1800 cans of Trails to Ales will be sold, with 50 cents from each can going to the BLT Rails to Trails!!!
Some information from our friends at North Brewing Company:
Trails to Ales was brewed with the help of Kevin Dunbar, a homebrewer local to the Timberlea community. We’ve made this brew together as a fundraiser to support the maintenance and repair of the BLT (Beechville Lakeside Timberlea) Rails to Trails pathway. The trail suffered serious damage during the recent rainfall, but we had coincidentally been working on this project for the past couple of months. It’s a timely moment to donate!
Brewed with English Golden Promise Malt and a healthy dose of fruity/citrusy American hops, and fermented with a blend of Norwegian and American yeasts. Lively, lightly bitter, very aromatic with a nice round malt profile. Great post-run/walk/bike beer after the trails (when they are able to re-open)
From Thursday August 3rd Through Sunday August 6th, in Timberlea only, we will be running a BLT Sandwich Special!
